Your alarm system should fit your building.
An apartment needs a different security concept than a detached house. A medical practice has different requirements than an office or warehouse. AEGIS Protect therefore plans systems according to building, use, access points, glazing, occupancy, pets, outbuildings, notification paths and the desired control-centre connection.

Which rooms should be protected?

Motion detector
Detect people indoors.
Detects movement inside the building. Pet-tolerant variants can be used depending on the property.
Cameras
Visual confirmation.
Provide images to assess an alarm. This is not blanket continuous surveillance for every configuration.
Opening detector
Doors and windows.
Reacts when monitored doors or windows are moved – the basis for perimeter and presence protection.
Glass-break detector
Detect breaking glass.
Registers glass breakage via pressure change and typical sounds – useful on large glazed areas.
Flood detector
Detect flooding early.
For basements, plant rooms, kitchens or washing machines – in the same system as intrusion protection.
CO detector
Detect carbon monoxide.
Warns of a CO leak before the concentration becomes dangerous.
Gas detector
Indicate flammable gases.
Reports leaking natural gas, methane, propane or butane.
Smoke and heat detector
More than intrusion protection.
Detects fire risk in homes and commercial buildings and can be included in the same system.
Siren
Make the alarm heard and seen.
For outdoor alarm indication and deterrence.
Keypad
Operation at the building.
Modern design, traffic-light logic, and depending on the model display, RFID, segments or touch.
Remote control
Additional operation.
Useful for the garage, short trips or users who do not authorise at the keypad.
RFID tag
Arm and disarm without a code.
On the key ring: authorise and operate areas without remembering a code.
New build or existing property? Both are possible.
AEGIS does not choose wireless or wired by default, but according to the building.
Wireless
Especially relevant for existing buildings, finished apartments, houses, practices and offices. Little construction work.
Bus / wired
Relevant for new builds, major renovations or existing cable infrastructure.
Hybrid
Combines wired and wireless components where it makes sense for the building.
